The Kurt Wallenhorst Soundset |
Kurt Wallenhorst has brought his formidable talents to creating a great new soundset for the Sosnowski SSynth. You may already be familiar with his excellent work with other synths, often posted to KVR. This is a must have, so do take the time to download (below). Unzip the file and follow the simple instructions to install. |
Download The Free MIDI
File Player |
This is a worthwhile toolbox item for any
electronic musician, and it's completely free. Many of you might wish to play stock
MIDI files, for instance -- there are tens of thousands all over the 'net. Or
use it for prototype and production work with your own MIDI files.
MIDI File Player Note that you will need a "virtual" MIDI port to use this tool with the Sosnowski Synthesizer. If you don't have one installed, our experience with the Nerds.de LoopBe1 virtual MIDI port says it's one of the best, the most reliable, and the easiest to use. It's free for personal use (professionals should purchase, of course; but it's quite inexpensive). You can get the LoopBe1 virtual MIDI port free from the download page at Nerds.de (website). Install it. Then the next time you open the Sosnowski Synthesizer standalone, select LoopBe1 form the MIDI In menu. Open the MIDI File Player, select LoopBe1 from the Select MIDI Output Device menu; then open a MIDI file -- and you're go for good! |
